At Waterloo, you can earn a degree on a part-time basis in a variety of subjects and, because of the term system, study throughout the calendar year. Part-time study is defined as a course load of one or two courses per term. You can take a few courses, complete a certificate, a diploma, or an entire degree. There are many programs available to you through daytime and evening courses on campus and also through online/distance courses.
Note: This website is designed for people taking on-campus undergraduate courses, on a part-time basis. If you are interested in part-time, on-campus graduate courses, please see the Graduate Studies website. If you are interested in online courses, please visit the Centre for Extended Learning.
NOTE: The Office of the Centre for Extended Learning has moved to EC3 in the area at the corner of Phillip St. and Columbia St. Waterloo exam support and Professional Development will remain on Gage Ave until further notice. All mail should still be directed to the main Univeristy address.
